Having always had a passion for dogs from an early age, I always knew I wanted to work with them.. And have been doing so now for over 5 years! To realise this dream, I studied 'Animal Management and Behaviour' gaining a LV3 diploma. As part of my studies (and also for pleasure!) I completed 150 hours of work experience at Holly Hedge Sanctuary before going on to work for a behaviourist at a day care centre in Bath. Here, I really began to learn all about working with and walking dogs!
When I moved house, I changed jobs in order to be closer to my new home, working for a local dog walking/services company. Whilst there, I had further training covering 'basic training methods' and behaviour. This also put me closer to my own four legged pal, Leo, a Belgian shepherd cross who never fails to keep me active and on the ball at all times!!.
This is Leo! He is my 4 year old Belgian Shepherd X,
& the sole reason you are reading my website today! After my studies, I shaped Dog Walkers Bristol around the standard of care and safety I’d want should anybody be walking my four legged family member! Quality over quantity, & dogs welfare always the no.1 priority!
Leo’s favourite things are playing with his tennis balls, long walks for exploring the outdoors & generally making as much of a muddy mess that he can!
